Adoption Process

 Adopting a new puppy is an exciting time. However, it also comes with lots of responsibilities that can look overwhelming. 

At Peaceful Valley Puppies, we want to make this time of adopting a new pet as easy as we can. Ask us any questions you have, and we will be more than happy to assist you. 

If you would like to reserve a puppy, your first step is to fill out our Puppy Application Form. 

Once the application is approved,  you may submit a $500 non-refundable deposit. We accept PayPal and Venmo. A deposit is a commitment and needs to be treated as such. Our method is first come, first serve. 

If a litter does not have the puppy you were looking for, or there are no puppies available at the time of your deposit. You will then be put on our waiting list and your deposit will be held till their is another puppy available.

We usually have "Puppy Choosing Day" when the puppies are around 6 weeks old. At this time, you can choose to come out to our location or choose your puppy via pictures and video calling.

Our puppies are ready for their new homes at 8 weeks old. They come all their shots up-to-date, and will come with a Certificate of Health from our local veterinarian.

To make the transition easier, we send a small bag of feed with each puppy. We recommend feeding your puppy with the dog feed we send with you for the first several days, then gradually mixing it with the high quality feed of your choice. In this way your puppy's change of diet will be a smooth transition. 

All of our puppies come with a 1 year congenital/hereditary health guarantee.  Please see our Health Guarantee below. 

If possible, we recommend our local customers to come pick up their new puppy in person. That way you can see and handle your puppy before making the final decision. 

However, if you are a from a distance, we would be happy to assist you. Please contact us for a shipping quote.

We accept payment through PayPal, Venmo, Cash, or Check**.

• Reservation cost = $500
• Final payment must be submitted at the time of pickup or before the puppy is shipped.
• All credit card transactions will imply a 3% fee.
• All puppies that are picked up are subject to a PA 6% Sales Tax.
• ** Checks are accepted but must be mailed at least 2 weeks prior to puppy pick up**.
